Instead of trying to decide “paper or plastic,” why not bring your own bag.  MaMa Jean’s has a wide variety of reusable bags to sell, and many are very stylish.  In addition, you will earn 10¢ per visit each time you bring ANY reusable grocery bag.

If you forget to bring your bag, our cashiers will still ask you which you prefer, “paper or plastic,” but now all of our plastic type bags are 100% biodegradable so they will go back into the earth instead of littering it.
